This morning, I came out to greet my stray cat Pumpkin, who's kind of jumpy.
I sat down on the border to our walkway, and Pumpkin came over and stretched out on his back, pawing the air and being cute.
As i was watching him, a small white butterfly came fluttering over to check out the orange shape.
Pumpkin spooked and scrambled to his feet then ran off, and I couldn't keep myself from laughing at the poor cat!

I was early for my class, so I decided to take a walk in the park near by.

At the park, I saw a couple talking, and right next to them was a squirrel. Baffled by how close the squirrel was to the humans, I stared at the squirrel.

It ended up that the reason why the squirrel was so close was because one of the people had a bag of peanuts, and it wanted to grab it. Only that the person grabbed the bag on time before the squirrel could get the bag. So the squirrel tried to grab onto the person's coffee. It was close to getting it, but the person also took his coffee. By that time, I knew that I was staring, and it was very rude of me to stare...despite of how amusing it was.

Sunday night at work.. it was slower in the evening, and we were all antsy to close up shop and just go home.

Lonny and I had been giving Patrick a hard time, and the subject of messing up orders came along (I work in a pizza place, for those who don't know). Antonio had forgotten someone's entree on a pickup order not too long before the conversation, so we made what they were missing and delivered it.
I said that I was thankful that we didn't mess up the $113 order that came in earlier that day.
Patrick says, "Well I was working on that one, and I don't make mistakes, you see."
Lonny and I groan, as Patrick proudly declares, "I'm so good, I don't have to be remembered!"


Of course, he intended to say 'reminded.'

More cute than amusing, but I was carrying some garbage out to the barn (where we keep the garbage and recycling cans and such) and my big orange cat, Barney was all curled up under a wooden ledge in some straw that had fallen there.
It's been dreary since yesterday so he must have been hiding from the wet.

This was a while ago when my Mom and I were moving around beds and mattresses up and down the basement. My cat, Chicken-Sox, started to scratch one of the mattresses when it was on its side and we were like "Cat. What are you doing?" Then, she started to climb the mattress and she sat on it! So we were wondering what she would do if we just kept moving it and she didn't budge an inch! xD So she was bracing herself on the edge of it. Imagine that!
