I often think if Nightopia, Nightmare, and all the character in NiGHTS could be real. I mean think about it, the games are based on places and characters in dreams . . . and dreams are real. So NiGHTS could be real, maybe not in our world, but in the dream world. Dreams are a place were we go to at night, everything and everyone in our dreams are real in that place.

Everything in our dreams exists in a dream dimension. So, I suppose NiGHTS really exists, as long as we dream of hm.

I have thought of it before, then thought that I was going bonkers to think that any of that is real. The points being made are good though. I also remember seeing in a behind the scenes You Tube Video that NiGHTS was created to exsit in the gamers' dreams.

That's why I like the NiGHTS games because it is the only fantasy game that could be real.

I just had a thought on this subject: what if someone from SEGA had a dream, met NiGHTS, which inspired the person to create a video game about NiGHTS. It's a crazy thought, but I thought that I would like to share it.

Possible...Very, VERY...possible...

I think that Lynne mentioned something like that once. There was a dream that influenced one or more decisions.
I don't know the details anymore though.

If it has to do with characters, then I may have to have my life's third fan girl squeel. I just think that it would be cool if NiGHTS was real.

NiGHTS sure felt real when I met him in that first dream. Unfortunately that was a one time occurrence though XD
I guess you would need to redefine your definition of what is "Real"
If something exists in a real dream, you could say that it is real, if only for as long as the dream lasts.

That's the problem with dreams, where they occur is really a mystery to us.

I though I heard something before, that when you dream your brainwaves are almost as active as when you're awake (don't quote me on this, I don't remember) so if they are, where's all tht energy going? You surely don't use that much for pure imagination.

Also, I tend to find I'm still tired after I've had a night with heavy dreaming, even if I have manymany hours of sleep.

Now, this leads me to believe that NiGHTS, the dream world (whatever its true name is), and everything else you see in you dreams may simply be but a glimpse into another world, and that it's all real.

But I've never seen NiGHTS for much longer than a split second; he was darting past through my dreamscape once; The purple regular guy in my dreams is Katun, not NiGHTS. But you can feel your heart leap when he goes by. You can't expect to see him too often, there's only one NiGHTS after all, he's got a whole dimension to explore XD

But anyway, to summarise: NiGHTS is as real in a dream as you believe him to be

yeah, i had a dream about NiGHTS which was actually what really got me into the fandom. He flew right past me during a bad dream, out of a sealed elevator, and surprised me into going lucid. It was the only time that's ever happened to me.

Sure, it would be hypocritical to say NiGHTS exists and not the other Nightmaren.
Anything that you see in a dream is real to some extent, if only to the dreamer.

Wow SiLK, your dream totally proves that NiGHTS is real. It is exactly what he would do, come into your bad dream to make it better and it becoming a lucid dream too.
