Green Foods

St Patrick's Day material goes here

Green Foods

So since everyone's Irish on St Patrick's Day, do you have any special themed dishes?

I like to make my lemon bread, but using limes instead, and just a drop of green food coloring.

and Irish coffee, of course. With Bailey's in it (adults only!)

Green bagels? Were they flavored differently?

We don't do it anymore, but my mother used to serve pistachio pudding (yuck!) and green kool-aid to us kids.
We're too old for it now (and pistachio pudding is disgusting!)

My mom's best friend once baked an entirely green cake for dessert XD

I have heard of those green milkshakes that McDonalds sells around that time. I have never tasted one, but people say that it's like the vanilla milkshakes, only green. Others say that it has a slight minty taste.

Personally, I would rather make a mint chocolate chip milk shake...which I have never done before either...but that way I am sure that there will be a minty taste.

Oh yeah, those shakes are pretty good.
I haven't had any for the past few years, but as I recall, they were all mint. I don't remember any vanilla flavoring.
(though they could have used the vanilla shake as a base)

Hmm...I don't know. I heard an argument last St. Patick's day in my math class. The majority said that it was a vanilla base while only one person said that it was mint. Maybe that one person was right. He was the one holding one of those shakes.

Man, I remember green ketchup. It was very poular, about...seven years ago. I was very young, and I didn't see much point of it being green because it tasted the same anyways.

During Saint Patrick's Day, I like to put green dye in my milk. HA . . . I remember last Patrick's Day their was alot of snow on the ground and my mom said that my friend and I should dye the front yard of snow green so we could be in the newspaper. But . . . it seemed impossible, so I didn't do it.

NiGHTS left Nightmare for good reasons. One is that they have a techno rave every 10 seconds, for 1 hour. Talk about annoying.

Green eggs and ham . . . I have to try that! I always wanted to, but never did. Like in the movie Daddy Daycare
