This was another RP group that had to be moved since it's just too hard to maneuver through yahoogroups' constant "please sign in to verify your identity" pages.

Right now I believe that only Kagome and Shippo are claimed, and possibly Inu-Yasha.

The rest of the cast is open though.

Fan characters are welcomed, anyone from the group can continue using their characters, but new characters should be PM'd to me so that I can approve them.

I'll be playing Shippo and some fancharacters to start out:
Naga the serpent demoness,
and Mayoke the demon hunter.

For starters, just name who played on the yahoo list (if you're joining from there)
or send some info about your character to me.

OOC: Short, short, short...but hopefully it'll get some play started.

Kagome dropped down into the well, very aware she was late but it couldn't be helped. Events had conspired to make her an hour later than she'd meant to be. Her friends of her own time had cornered her after the test she'd gone back for then two things she'd been going to pack hadn't been where it was supposed to be. While she had eventually found them it'd made her late. Landing at the bottom of the well, she put those happenstances behind her to focus on a more immediate problem as she glanced up, ready to face the other time period.

(I'll just play Inu-Yasha temporarily, he's still available if anyone wants the part and is qualified)

"Inu-Yasha, Kagome said not to follow her!" Shippo whined, tugging at the half demon's leg. he was being towed along.
Inu-Yasha scowled as he stormed over to the well. "I've waited long enough, who said that she could stay in that world of hers so long anyway?!"

He kicked Shippo off and grabbed the side of the well to heave himself inside.
He grunted in surprise as he found Kagome already on her way up.
"Kagome!"
Inu-Yasha hauled himself back up then turned to look back down at her.

Kagome was looking up and saw Inu-Yasha about to drop into the well, then he pulled back. It was obvious he'd been going to come after her. She scowled but, as she hauled herself and what she carried to the top of the haul, she needed her breath too much to reply. At the top she pulled her pack off being ready to drop it onto the ground despite Inu-Yasha being right there.

(Just pausing there so Inu-Yasha and Shippo'd have a chance to react or speak)

Elsewhere among the trees a youkai lounged leisure on a treebranch, leaning back against the trunk. In one hand he had an nut and the other was resting across his knees. His fluffy squirrel tail curled to oneside of the tree, twitching while he examined the nut he'd swiped earlier from a regular animal.

After encountering him the animal didn't really require the nut anymore and what remains there were had been left tossed somewhere into the trees a good distance away. Who knew if anyone'd ever find it before it rotted, nor was he too worried about if someone did.

Inu-Yasha casually grabbed the pack as it came within reach, pulling it free of the well and dropping it nearby. He then reached in to pull Kagome out.
"It's about time. . ." Shippo bounced over excitedly. "Kagome!"
