No. Hats are determined by what season or month it is. It has nothing to due with the pian.
And the process for getting a Superpian is the same as in the old game.
That Twilight Adventure thing is very old news and nothing new has been shed on it. Don't get your hopes up too much.
As for the dream drop, I have the book but I have no idea how to exactly describe it to you. I had a lot of trouble with that one myself. I am not sure which one you need. There are 4 of them there. I will just write out the locations teh guide book says for all 4. Remember, this is quoted from the Bradygames stratiegy guide. (I don't see harm in writing a few quotes. So long as I don't write out the whole book.)
Part 1 Dreamdrops:
-As Will, before you climb up the NiGHTS Capture chain and begin the mission, run past the scaffolding on teh sandbox's left side (as you face teh sandbox from the mission's start.). Look for teh tall tree in the distance, and run around its trunk to find the first dream drop.
--The second dreamdrop is near the first one, on a rectangular grassy hill that overlooks a distant, red neon city. It's hidden behind a Tresure Chest that contains a time bonus. You have to be Will to get this as well.
Part 2:
--After you exit the slot machine and enter the jungle of scaffolding, grab hold of the first pole you reach--do not fly through the gap in it. Swing around it to the second pole. Look for the dreamdrop in a nearby ring of blue chips after you leave the second pole.
Part 3:
wait.....you already have the one in Neon city....
