Also, like most Wii games, JOD has its own friend code that you get that is a part of the game and not the same as the Wii friend code. Course its fun to have both.

Oh one thing I need to point out. The game does call NiGHTS a 'he' at some points, but don't be fooled. NiGHTS still doesn't have a gender. Its just that in our language, when someone's gender is unknown we say 'he'. So don't get to upset about it when you hear it during the story. I wonder if this is one of the reasons why they made NiGHTS have such a feminine voice.

That would be my guess, yeah.
They should have alternated between "He" and "she" though, especially depending on which kid's being played.

I told you that the 60 dreamdrops are special. I have yet to do that since I have been busy for the past 3 days...

Also, I feel its ok to talk about some of the negative of the game, so long as the positive is stressed just as much. I cannot ignore the flaws and say the game is perfect. But I will not sit here and say its bad either. The fact that it has all the faults its does, yet its STILL a wonderful game to play, says a lot. Its the one thing I wanted Sega to do. I know I am mad about several storyline stuff, and acting, and blah blah blah, but I wanted them to at LEAST put the same great gameplay like we had in the orginal. They came pretty close to just that. If the game is good then you can live through most of the faults. THe fact that the game is getting some pretty darn good ratings should say something.

It's fine to dislike aspects of the game, just so you don't refuse to buy it just because those aspects don't impress you.
We've waited a decade for a game, and now that it's here, it's our duty as NiGHTS fans to promote the fandom and help the games to sell and be as successful as possible.
This is the ONLY way for us to see more NiGHTS.

Nitpicking the details won't accomplish that, but accepting the game as a whole, complete with its low points is good everyone.

Darn! You know, when I finally get it I'll put a bigger post.

I am a bit more used to the voice than before, but I still don't like most of them. But you have to admit, the acting IS pretty good. It would have been better if they had gotten real British people to speak British though. There are times where the acting is slumped a bit due to having to try so hard to talk the way they need to, and times where they let they don't do the accent at all. Ah well, they did a pretty darn good job. Some games will make your ears bleed, but this one doesn't. The voices are all a matter of opinion. Some don't like to hear British like talk and therefor they do not like the voices. I thought that was the case for me but I guess its not. I really do like Will's voice.

Oh don't worry, I want to promote all the positive of the game as well. Its just that I find it important to admit some of the negatives with them so that people will take us more seriously. If we only talk about the good and say its the best game ever, then people will think that we are saying "It is NiGHTS. So I like. Give Uge cookie now." (Note that I was just being silly with that last sentence.)

But you are right. We must stress the positive more and show that it all makes up for the negative. Nothing is perfect, but that doesn't mean its not great.

Here is a good positive, the music is wonderful! If you like the old soundtrack then you are going to love this one. The only downside I noticed was I didn't find as many boss songs to be as memorable as they were from the old game. I guess they tried to make the songs relate to the character more. There are only two boss songs I truly love, Donbalon and the Spider boss, and the rest I feel netural about. All level music is wonderful. I have few complaints there. Its nice and catchy just like before. There is one mission that has a really cool song in it...but its not very NiGHTS like at all. It sounds like a familar Sega game but I am not sure. I guess the song sounds like a mix of Sonic and Road Rash? I don't know. Either way I like it a lot and I want the soundtrack to be out right now. But I must wait...

My sister got the game for Christmas, but I was the one who never stopped playing it.^_^

I was never able to get a Sega Saturn, so I've never played the original Nights into Dreams. I've tried to play catch up though... I knew who NiGHTS, Reala, Elliot and Claris were. I'm just now knowing who Jackal and Puffy were though...

Well NiGHTS JOD is the funnest game on the Wii so far and I hope Sonic Team makes another NiGHTS game.

No, I wasn't there. Even thought I haven't played the game, I saw it being fully completed and I didn't saw me.

By the way, GameTap will have an emulated version of NiD, according to JoD's official site, so you can play it without a Saturn and a PS2.
