Ever heard of Selph? The removed boss from NiGHTS: into Dreams? He had his theme and level already to go but, SEGA and Sonic Team thought the game was purfect as it is and removed him. I heard he could've been Claris's Bossmaren. the least SEGA and Sonic Team coulda done was make him a secret boss OR put him in Journey of Dreams. Maybe the naxt game, let us hope. And a notice. No one knows what he looks like. Selph's concept art never made it out, so no one knows what he looks like. So, lets enjoy his theme "Know Thyself!" And maybe talk about some Selph concerns and related topics.

We didn't have a Selph topic? I could have sworn that we did, but it's not showing on searches. . . ah well.
I once thought that I'd found Selph in one of my Japanese books, but it was only a beta version of Claris' stage XD

I think that Selph would be the dreamer's dark side. You are your own worst enemy, and all. And it fits in with the theme, Know Thyself
They would have had to conquer their own fears and doubts before ever being able to win.

That's my theory anyway.

I accept your theory greatly. In fact, listen to his theme. At times it sounds like NiGHTS's theme, or, to be more precise, becuase I'm not talking about Dreams Dreams, the song he plays on his flute.

This Selph maren sounds like an awsome character, even though he was removed from the game. Do you that we all have a Selph, or that Selph resides in all our dreams?

Well, a teacher of mine told me that the people in your dreams are acctually different forms of yourself. I wonder if Selph had something to do with that.

Anyways, the whole mystery behind Selph is very interesting. I wonder if SEGA would put Selph in future NiGHTS games if they make more.

I would like to see that too, it would probably be a great battle!

Maybe Sega thought that the philosophy around Selph was a little too deep for the kids playing the game?
