I am moving my favorite roleplays over, so this is where you can roleplay the characters from the old Saturday morning Sonic cartoon.
Please note however, that we are not an Archie roleplay and will not be using any comic characters.
Those joining from the old list can keep their characters, but any new members should send their characters to me please, in a note.

Would characters from other continuities be acceptable if they were adapted specifically into the SatAM setting?

I'd prefer to keep it SatAM, but if it's Metal you have in mind, I see no reason why Robotnik couldn't build a similar robot in this universe. He built a pointless cheetah robot in one episode, so why not?
But I'd rather not see SatAM versions of Cream the rabbit or Tikal.

*snaps fingers* Rats. Would it at least be acceptable to reference one in a canon character's history without actually playing them? I use Cream in Bunnie's history the way I like to write her (assuming she's not taken)

Also, what kind of rating is allowed?

I would assume not, but if it's explained well in the character sheet it could slip through.
Like the rest of the forum, we keep as close to a G rating as possible.

You were playing Bunnie in the list before you quit, along with Antoine and Metal, so you can reclaim Bunny if you like.

Finally got around to creating a profile here...been busy with real life as
I'm currently working on getting my PhD in computer engineering and
computer science at the University of Louisville.

It's good to know the game looks to like it will be revived, although will
the old logs from the yahoo group be considered material that has
occurred or will things be restarted over from scratch?

Well in any case the form dealing with character sheets is still at the old
yahoo group if anyone wants to go and look it up, but if you don't want to

On a more personal note, do I need to resubmit character files for
Samuel Stevenson and Valin Vaschel (The two characters I had back in
the yahoo group and their character bios are still listed the appropriate
folder in the yahoo group's file section.) I also plan on reclaiming Uncle Chuck.

Jamie, you don't need a sheet for Bunnie since you were already playing her, unless you want to make some changes.

Well, I'd like to write her a real profile if it's alright ^^; My writing has improved a lot since the last time I was here and a full profile to me is important.

Of course it's alright!

1) Is there a reason why we haven't started the RP yet? (People just busy
with real life, are we waiting for more people, or for a character sheet
from someone that wants to play, etc...)

2) When the RP starts, will we be resuming where we left off from the Yahoo
Group, or 'starting over' with a blank slate?

3) Would everyone prefer that the IC and OOC posts be contained within the
same thread with IC or OOC in the subject line to separate the two, or
would they prefer two threads one dedicated to IC and the other to OOC?

1.) I was hoping for more people to join us here

2.) Since we'll mist likely have to recast and the new players won't know our storyline, I was planning to restart.

3.) It might be easier to understand if we make a separate OOC thread, but we just have to remember it's there if we do. Seth, you're authorized to do so if you wish.

BTW, I release Antoine n.n;; I think I had only been temping him until someone interested in him came along anyway...

Well, honestly, I'm not sure about re-taking him. I'd LIKE to obviously, but I've gotten to know him a lot better since the last time I wrote him here and I really don't think I could fit him into a G-rating X_x;; Believe me, I've already tried. He's very much an unstable wild card. Plus, he's somewhat godmodey to anyone not equally matched to him like Sonic, and I don't want to risk imposing on any other player's rights because he insists on jerking his leash.
