My brother brought me back a signed and sketched in Megatokyo volume 5 from Otakon, as well as volumes 3 and 4.
I only asked for a book and a sketch XD

Baking is awesome.. I miss the days of my childhood when my mom would make cookies around Christmas time. It always smelled so good in the house and she was usually in a great mood, even if cursing her rolling pin that worked only part of the time.. we had this weird-but-nifty Jazzy Christmas CD that I won't ever be able to put out of my mind.
Today was a nifty day.. full of odd interactions. I was walking out of the lab as my professor was walking in, and we did the shift to the left, shift to the right to yield the other person through - but after that failed, we both just started dancing. Sad thing was that it was pretty well coordinated. Laughed for quite some time about it ..but those are the moments in my day that I thrive for.
Today was a nifty day.. full of odd interactions. I find taking a nap during the day can help the cheery aspect. I also enjoy curling up with a good book.
